Ski and snowboard at Whitetail Resort in Pennsylvania on a Washington DC ski day trip. The Liftopia ski bus is the most convenient way to get on the slopes. You get round-trip transportation from your choice of several DC-area pick-up locations. Standard package includes transportation and a lift ticket, but you can choose bus-only if you have a pass. There are options for equipment rentals and lessons.

The Liftopia Whitetail Resort bus trip has an option for a Learn to Ski or Snowboard package that includes transportation, a lift ticket, equipment rental, and a beginner lesson. If you are just starting out with snow sports or it has been awhile, the Learn to Ski or Snowboard package is an excellent value.

A trained Liftopia Host accompanies each trip to ensure the day runs smoothly. In addition to distributing lift tickets and rental & lesson vouchers, the Liftopia Host will answer questions and guide you through the process. If you are new to Whitetail Resort, the Liftopia Host can guide you to the best runs for your skill level and other resort tips.

About Whitetail Resort
Whitetail, located in south central Pennsylvania, has 9 ski lifts and 21 trails on 38 acres. The resort is known for it's very friendly staff making it great place to learn. More advanced skiers and snowboarders will be challenged by the advanced runs and terrain park.

The trip day in total is 11-12 hours long.

No, lunch is not included in your ticket. There are multiple food options at the mountain, which can be found at their the base lodge or summit lodge.

Nope! One of the reasons for Liftopia Ski buses is to get more people out to the mountains, so they can learn to love snow sports as much as we do. To get a good start, we recommend a discounted group lesson or a Learn to Ski/Snowboard package.

Goggles, gloves, ski pants, ski jacket, sun screen, and cash or a credit card for lunch at the mountain. If you are not renting equipment, you should also bring your own along.

Unfortunately, the bus transportation is only valid for use within a single day. This is to ensure that all of our customers have available seats for the return to journey on any given day.

Unfortunately, driving yourself is prohibited. We do this for logistical and liability reasons.

Trip is nonrefundable. No full or partial refunds are given to customers who miss the event. In the event of a cancellation by the operator, your ticket will be fully refunded. Event subject to change/cancellation based on weather/river/snow level conditions. All trips run rain or shine; in the unlikely event of a cancellation you will be notified via email. For reschedules within 10 days of departure there is a $35 rescheduling fee per person. There are no reschedules or refunds for missing the bus or no-shows. Each ticket is good for one (1) person, unless specified otherwise. Trips involving alcohol are 21+ , valid ID required. All other trips are 18+. The deal is valid only for tickets on the date[s] of the event as listed and may not be exchanged or redeemed for any other dates. Provided transportation by Liftopia and Sourced Adventures is required; you may not drive yourself. In order to attend any Liftopia Experience partnered with Sourced Adventure whether your ticket is purchased directly through Liftopia, Sourced Adventures, Inc. or any of their affiliates, distributors or partners you are required to sign and submit a copy of our release of liability waiver before departure. We will collect your waiver on-site and by attending you must agree to our release of liability terms outlines in our waiver.
